Africa is the second-largest continent
of world after Asia (which is world’s
continent),which being the area of
30,244,050 square kilometers while
consisting of more than 1.3 billion
residents.
The word “Africa” is derived from the Latin
language of the ancient Romans where
they did not mean the whole continent but
the scene in Tunisia today with it’s origins
as a tribe of “Afrig” that settled in Tunisia.
At the time of the ancient Greeks used
the name of Libya’s more for land south of
the sea of Mediteraneo.
Southward into areas often was also called
the name “Ethiopia” which means the land
of black people (In Greek “Aithiops”:who
burned by the sun). The name “Africa” has
become common from the 16th century
AD.
African language are more than 2000
but some languages like Swahili , Hausa, Igbo ,
or Yoruba are the treasures speakers
people millions therefore other languages
are so very few speakers people so they
tend to be extination.
According to United Nations (UN) in Africa
there are five zones namely East Africa (20
countries),West Africa (18
countries),Central Africa (9
countries),North Africa (8 countries), as
well as South Africa (5 countries).
Major economic activities undertaken
in Africa include fishing,livestock
keeping,agriculture,hunting, and mining but
also Africa is the continent leading to
many resources including
forests,mountains,parks etc.
So through these resources,Africa has
every reason to be economically
commendable continent but there are
things that comprise the Africa to not
being such so and do most African
countries have limited economics.
