Columbia University offers lifetime achievement award [US]

Deadline:

APRIL 29, 2016

Journalists can enter a competition with a US$25,000 prize.
The John Chancellor Award, sponsored by Columbia University, is given to a journalist whose reporting as a whole is greater than any single story he or she may have covered.
Last year’s winner was Alissa J. Rubin, Paris bureau chief for The New York Times.
Applicants must be nominated by someone else and must provide five to 10 work samples. The principle audience of the work should be in the United States, but entries in languages other than English are accepted as long as translations are provided.
The deadline to submit a nomination is April 29.
